Angela Berners-Wilson Appointment 27.03.16

We are delighted to announce that The Bishop has appointed
the next Rector of the Quantock Tower Benefice  –   The
Reverend Prebendary Angela Berners-Wilson
.  Angela
is currently University Chaplain and Ecumenical Team
Leader at Bath University; an Associate Priest at Christchurch
Bath and a Prebendary of Bath & Wells Cathedral. Before
coming to Bath University in 2004, Angela was the Rector
of Colerne with North Wraxall – a large village with five
rural hamlets in Wiltshire. She looks forward very much
to serving again in a rural setting, with us.

She will complete her ministry at the University at the end
of the academic year and will move here in July, for an

Institution as Rector on Monday, 25th July 2016 with the
Bishop of Taunton.

Archdeacon John would like to voice his thanks to the Patrons,
to Rural Dean Jon and to the Parish Representatives for their
excellent and professional teamwork through the discernment
and appointment processes.  We were very clear about the
rightness of this appointment and we thank you all for your
prayers throughout that time. And Archdeacon John says God
bless you for all the worship, witness and service which continues
around the benefice through each of you.
